Cách pha mắm chấm ốc: 2 muỗng canh nước mắm, 1 muỗng canh nước lọc, 1 muỗng canh nước cốt chanh, 3 muỗng canh đường rồi khuấy đều lên sau đó thêm lá chanh, ớt, sả, gừng rồi khuấy đều lần nữa. (Bạn có thể ước lượng gia vị sao cho hợp với khẩu vị của bạn).
Đun nóng 2 muỗng canh dầu ăn, cho tỏi băm vào phi thơm sau đó cho dừa vào đảo đều, tiếp đến cho 1 muỗng cà phê ớt bột cùng 1/3 muỗng cà phê bột canh. Tiếp đến cho ốc mít vào xào, đảo đều liên tục tới khi phần vẩy ốc tách ra, thịt ốc thấy chín là được (bạn có thể thêm chút xíu nước trong quá trình xào). Cuối cùng cho ít lá chanh vào rồi xóc đều.
Cho ốc mít xào dừa ra đĩa chấm kèm với mắm chua ngọt. Phần thịt ốc nếu tìm được gai bưởi để lể thịt ốc thì tuyệt. Nếu không thì sử dụng tăm tre nhé!
