Đậu hũ non mua về đem xả nhẹ nhàng dưới vòi nướng cho được rửa sạch. Sau đó thái đậu hũ non thành từng lát mỏng với chiều dày khoảng 1cm.
Cho thịt heo băm nhỏ được trộn đều với gừng băm, 1/2 muỗng canh nước tương, 1/3 muỗng cà phê muối, 1/2 muỗng canh dầu hào và 1 muỗng canh rượu, để yên 5 phút.Trong tô lớn, trộn đều thịt băm với một chút đậu hũ non đã được nghiền nát và hành lá thái nhỏ.
Chuẩn bị một chiếc đĩa có lòng sâu, trải đều phần thịt băm đã chuẩn bị từ trước lên trên bề mặt thành một lớp mỏng. Sau đó, đặt từng lát đậu hũ non đã thái lên phía trên. Cuối cùng, đập hai quả trứng vịt sang hai phía của chiếc đĩa. Đem hấp khoảng 15 phút là có thể dùng.
